Fabian Perez, artistFabian Perez, artist believes that the purpose of art is to perpetuate beauty. He believes the purpose of art is to preserve and embellish the beauty found in our world. As the world was created and embellished with the wonders of nature, so the artist should embellish it with his work. A passionate artist, he has explored many different paths in his search for greater self-expression and artistic truth. This can be seen in his unique art and style, all of which reflects passion, emotion and pure energy. The creator of a new style of painting he has called Neo Emotionalism, it is characterised by both a dramatic narrative style and heady atmosphere.

Each of his artworks reveal a fascinating and unusual setting, based on his own personal history. Fabian Perez, artist, creates stunning moody, noir-like paintings. When you view his paintings, you are invited to imagine what his subjects are thinking, and as such, he creates a dialogue between artist and observer. It was in the small town of Padova outside Venice where he began his journey as an artist. Inspired by the Shodo, he used this to combine both figurative and abstract styles. Acrylic paint is his medium, and his paintings appear dark, preferring to present only an idea and not details. He does, however, prefer to paint the moods in colour to better provide the concept of what he is trying to portray.

Fabian Perez, artist, communicates his ideas through his vibrant, compelling paintings. He likens painting to music and this is evident in his Flamenco pieces, where the dancer creates complex rhythmic patterns. Comparing colour and technique with music and rhythm, and the subject matter with lyric and poetry, one cannot help but be drawn to the intensity of his work. The viewer is invited to linger in front of his painting, and the longer he lingers, the better he will understand its unique message. By using colour, highlights and shadows to express passionate feelings, his paintings are dark. This in turn gives the viewer the opportunity to decide how he wishes to experience this artist’s work.
